Road Warrior Special

There are 11 motels in Thermopolis. Only 4 are FEMA certified, and the Paintbrush Inn is FEMA certified - WY5068. US Goverment employees and contractors are prohibited from staying in non-FEMA certified motels & hotels. To meet FEMA listing standards, a motel must meet or exceed several fire safety related requirements.

We offer high-speed wireless internet service (download maximum speed is 6 mb/sec, upload maximum speed is 1 mb/sec). If you need a wired internet connection for security purposes, most rooms also have an ethernet jack.

FAX and copy services are available at the office.

Hair dryers, irons & ironing boards are available upon request.

There is a laundramat about 2 blocks south of the motel, it is open 24 hours a day. Blair's Supermarket is opposite our motel on 6th street - they are open from 8 am - 8 pm, with extended hours in the summer. There is a pharmacy at Blairs (it is the only pharmacy in Thermopolis). There is a Blimpie resturant across the street, and other resturants are within 2 blocks.

Fedex, UPS, and the USPS will deliver packages to the motel. There are Fedex and UPS drop off boxes on Arapahoe Street, across from the US Post Office.

All rooms have coffeemakers, microwave ovens, refrigerators, telephones (free local calling), wake-up call service, alarm clocks, 32" HDTV's with extra ports, DVD players, cable TV. We don't provide complimentary local newspapers, since the Thermopolis Independent Record is a weekly, and only covers local news. There are newspaper vending machines in front of Blair's.

If your lodging is tax exempt, please bring the appropriate tax exempt form, and government ID. Our rates are below Federal and Wyoming per diem limits.

The Maverik gas/convenience store is 1 block north on 6th Street. They are open 24/7. They also have Redbox rentals.

The motel phone system has voicemail boxes for each room, and can handle wake-up calls. Some rooms have speakerphones.
